Lotus & Moon Suncatcher — Stained Glass Style Window Panel

A lotus opening on still water, a crescent moon above it, bamboo down either side. Made to hang in a window, where the light comes through the colour and lays it back down across the room.

The whole scene is built the way stained glass is built — every piece of colour held inside its own black line. Pink lotus on rippling water at the base, the moon and drifting cloud at the top, green bamboo along both sides, and a border of small colour blocks running the whole way round. The centre is open, so it frames whatever is behind it: your window, the sky, the garden.

Made by hand in Minneapolis, one at a time. Because each is finished individually, no two are quite identical — small variations in the colour are part of how it's made, not a flaw.
