Custom Design Commission | Original Prairie & Art Deco Design

Commission an original design in the Daly Creation style — Prairie School and Art Deco geometry, drawn for your name, address, or idea. Total design fee: $75 — you pay a $40 deposit to start, and the remaining $35 only when you approve your design.

How it works

1. Start with the $40 deposit (this listing). We'll email you a short questionnaire within 1 business day — your text, size, style preferences, and where the piece will live.
2. Three original concepts arrive in your inbox within 2–3 business days. Most designers show one — we show three directions.
3. Pick your favorite. Two rounds of revisions are included (additional rounds $15 each; an entirely new direction counts as a new commission).
4. Reply "APPROVED" when it's right. We'll send the $35 balance invoice.
5. Your engrave-ready files are delivered as soon as the balance clears: high-resolution PNG + vector SVG, ready for laser engraving. Personal-use license included.

Good to know

• You only pay the final $35 when you approve your design. If we can't get it right within your revision rounds, you can walk away and never pay the balance. The $40 deposit is non-refundable — it covers the original concept work.
• Design fee credited toward fabrication: order the finished piece from us within 60 days and the full $75 comes off the price.
• Cutting on your own laser? These files are engrave-ready. If you need a cut-ready file (closed paths, bridges/tabs, kerf-tested for cut-through), add Cut-Ready File Preparation (+$50).
• No refunds after approval — once you approve, the design is yours and final.
